Warm up those WASD fingers and mark your calendars for August 9-12, because QuakeCon is coming back to the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Dallas, Texas!
QuakeCon 2018 invites thousands of gamers worldwide to participate in a four-day video game festival featuring the largest BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN party in North America. Celebrating its 23rd year, QuakeCon has grown to be one of the most distinguished gaming festivals in the world, with over 9,000 game enthusiasts from around the globe attending in 2017.
This year’s BYOC will also be doubling in size from QuakeCon 2017, so even more participants can showcase their custom computers and play their favorite games with the QuakeCon community.
QuakeCon is FREE for general attendees and open to the public, thanks to the support of id Software, Bethesda Softworks, the QuakeCon volunteer staff and this year’s event sponsors and exhibitors.
QuakeCon 2018 will feature a diverse range of activities to offer for all – even those that leave their rig at home. Attendees will be among the first to see sneak peeks of Bethesda’s upcoming titles and announcements, while also attending a wide array of tournaments, workshops and exhibits from leading tech companies showcasing the newest gaming accessories and hardware.
QuakeCon 2018 will also be reintroducing panels and presentations along with three days of exhibits in the expo hall, which for the very first time will be open Friday through Sunday.
Guests can make room reservations at the Gaylord Texan Resort by calling 1-817-778-2000 or booking online here. Make sure to mention QuakeCon 2018 during your order so you can snag a special room rate of just $185 per night!
Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been attending since the beginning, we look forward to seeing you at QuakeCon 2018!
