An all new Championship format
The Quake® Pro League season kicks off at QuakeCon 2019. From Thursday, July 25th to Saturday July 27th, our pros will compete in round-robin format 1v1 timed Duels—and for the first time ever, EVERY match will be streamed from each player’s individual stream! Support your favorite players by subscribing to their personal Twitch streams and follow their journey in the Quake® Pro League! Championship Sunday
The top competitors from the round robin will compete in six Prize Matches, all leading up to the main event: Championship Sunday, presented by PGL! Who will walk away from QuakeCon as our first QPL World Champion? The outcome of this inaugural event determines the starting Global Rank for these titans of Quake, and you won’t want to miss it!

The Quake® Pro League’s Championship Sunday will be hosted by none other than the living legend himself: DJWheat! The original esports shoutcaster returns to Quakecon 2019 to kick off the Quake® Pro League, and we couldn’t be more excited!

BIO: One of the best team players to ever touch Quake, Br1ck is throwing his hat into the ring to prove he can be a top duel contender. This momentum-based player is quick to strike, and even quicker to rail you four times in a row. Br1ck plans to compete over the long haul gatekeeping any challengers in front of him.

BIO: Our youngest in North America, cha1n annihilated all collegiate adversaries at Quakecon last year. As he’s made the leap to compete against the professionals, Cha1n has continued to level up and rise to the occasion at every turn. Cha1n is a rising star in the scene and is sure to make some noise.

BIO: People wonder if Dahang was born with an atomic clock integrated into his brain. His uncanny means to time multiple simultaneous items to the millisecond always makes him a top contender. His opponents can always have to account on Dahang being at the right place before them. He is sure to be a heavy favorite in North America, if not the world.

BIO: Dramis is The Unknown in the Quake Pro League. He’s fairly new to the scene and has been grinding his way to the elite, surprising opponents. Opponents describe his style as a fairly balanced between strategy and aim. You’ll want to keep tabs on Dramis as he proves himself amongst the best.

BIO: Always smiling and joking around, one would think he wouldn’t be much threat in the arena. Wrong. The second his opponents make a mistake, Effortless will utilize his aim, especially his lightning gun, to absolutely destroy his opponents. Few will be able to keep up as Effortless is constantly fighting and engaging with his relentless accuracy.

BIO: By far the best player to come out of South America in over a decade, Nosfa will challenge the world’s best in the Quake Pro League. Maybe considered a bit flashy, his playstyle has been coined Lightning in a Bottle as he performs acrobatic moves to sharply dismantle his opponent. But that’s just the beginning, because after he gets a taste of blood, his pursuit will stop at nothing.

BIO: When people first watched Psygib come onto the scene, he was characterized as an Enigma. Very quickly, he was winning competitions, and doing so by a major margin. Psygib is the type of player to intentionally switch to his opponents’ favorite weapon in order to go toe-to-toe …just to prove he can best his opponents with their favorite weapons.

BIO: Coming off an unprecedented, nearly perfect 2018 season, Rapha is the clear favorite heading into the Quake Pro league. This Chicago native constructs strategic blueprints individually tailored to each of his opponent before heading into the arena. Once ready, The Professor demonstrates his true art form as he picks apart and out wits his opponent.

BIO: One of our newest challengers, Sib utilizes his RAW nature to compete with the best. Currently more on the unpredictable side, however his skill is improving in folds as he continues to gain more experience and sharpen his skill. Look for Sib as a dark horse as he approaches every opponent with fresh eyes.

BIO: Twitch chat gets flooded with “WHAZZLE DAZZLE” when they watch Whaz compete. Probably the best movement based player in the league, Whaz will outmaneuver and outclass his opponent. He is known for turning the tide of battle, winning unwinnable situations.

BIO: Aggressive, confident, and relentless….all while looking good describe Av3k’s approach to Quake. The Prince of Poland has proven himself dangerous over the years and is ready to dethrone anyone in his path. As he’s stated before, there’s nobody in the world that Av3k can’t defeat.

BIO: Strategy, strategy, strategy. Base engages Quake like a game of chess, always outmaneuvering his opponents. Always careful and docile, base will hoax you into a false sense of security. Once his opponents overextend he will be the first to punish….and punish hard. Base is like a black belt in Karate, never the first to attack, but always the first to finish the fight.

BIO: For over a decade Coollerz has been The King of the east in Quake. Nobody is anybody in the Quake scene until they have proven themselves against Coollerz. His strategy and tactics may not always be clear at first to the viewer….and then before you know it his brilliance surfaces into unprecedented frags. This stone cold killer will grind his opponents out until he is the victor.

BIO: This British Bulldog engages his opponent head first, rocket first. His aggressive nature and pixel perfect rocket placement always pushes his opponents to the limit. Garpy thrives under big game matchups where he always seems to come away with the “W”.

BIO: Like shadows in the night, this Cheetah that is K1llsen will attack when and where you least expect. He will snipe players from such a great distance and then close in with some of the most devastating aim to finish off his opponents. With his vast experience in Quake, K1llsen is always calm and collective while he’s on the hunt, followed by a torrent of emotions post-match.

BIO: Raisy made his Quake debut in 2017, kicked some ass and never looked back. He was the only person to make a dent in Rapha’s nearly flawless 2018 season beating him in the finals of the Italian Open. Dubbed The God Slayer, Raisy will beat his opponents without mercy. Although his exterior demeanor remains quiet and humble, don’t be fooled as he is determined to crush the best players in the world.

BIO: Spart1e packs a punch when he enters the ring. Known for his rail, he will starve his opponent’s dry of resources as he continues to hit pixel perfect rails. Look for this Swede to show up every match in peak performance and lean on his opponents’ weaknesses.

BIO: Everybody knows Toxjq as The Terminator because he has the most unrelenting, aggressive, and bot-like aim ever witnessed. Observing him for over a decade, players and viewers still do not understand how he can hit scan at such a high accuracy. Once both players are in the arena Toxjq only has one button and its “On”.

BIO: Straight outta Italy, Kid Bellissimo VengeurR is the youngest player in the entire Quake Pro League. He’s advanced to the professional Quake scene quicker than anybody in the previous years. Fueled by big match moments, VenguerR is the embodiment of clutch. Watching through his recorded matches are a nonstop sequence of highlights and implausible frags. Watch for unexpectedly over the top aggressive pushes that only this confident young killer can pull off.

BIO: Xron always seems to have more information than his opponents. The handler will scout out his opponents far ahead of time to seek any and all advantages. Xron doesn’t have the flashiest style, however he knows how to handle his opponent and he always get the job done. And he does it well.
